Responsible for data protection

The controller for the processing of personal data is Lena Christin Gögel, reachable via the contact details above. Which data Card Case processes is described in the privacy policy: in the app under Settings → Privacy policy, on the website at cardcase.online/en/privacy/.

Consumer dispute resolution

The provider is neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Liability for content

The provider is responsible for her own content in the app and on the website under the general laws. For third-party information that she merely transmits or stores, the liability rules of Articles 4 to 8 of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) in conjunction with Section 7 DDG apply. There is no general obligation to monitor such information or to actively look for circumstances indicating illegal activity. As soon as an infringement becomes known, the content concerned will be removed promptly.

Card data, card images and prices are taken automatically from public sources, including TCGdex and Cardmarket's price list. They may be incomplete, incorrect or out of date. Prices and collection values are non-binding guide values and not a recommendation to buy or sell.

Liability for links

The app and the website link to third-party offers, for example Cardmarket, eBay and the verification pages of the grading companies. Their respective providers alone are responsible for their content; the provider has no influence on it. No infringements were apparent when the links were set. As soon as an infringement becomes known, the link concerned will be removed promptly.

Copyright

The texts, design and program code of Card Case are protected by copyright. Copying, editing and distribution beyond the limits set by law require the provider's prior written consent. Open-source software included in Card Case is subject to its own licences; they are listed at cardcase.online/en/licenses/. Please report possible copyright infringements to cardcaseapp@gmail.com; the content concerned will then be removed promptly.

Trademarks and third-party rights

Pokémon, the names of the Pokémon as well as card images, set symbols and logos are trademarks or copyrighted works of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc. and The Pokémon Company. Card Case is an independent app, has no business relationship with these companies and is neither endorsed nor reviewed by them. The same applies to Cardmarket, eBay, TCGdex and the grading companies named in the app. All names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
